Happy Thanksgiving dear reader! If you’re new, thank you for joining! If you’re interested in what these reflections are all about, I’ll direct you here, here, or here. If you’ve been following along, you’ll notice I’m 2 days ahead of schedule. This is of course because of the holiday. I will not be responsible for pulling you to a screen on Thanksgiving! In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I’ll keep this short so you can get back to your friends and family. Next week, I’ll be back on my regular schedule and would love for you to join.
Progress Report
This week is and will be awesome. I’ll be off work Thursday-Sunday and will be completely off of my phone, minus a few necessary “Happy Thanksgiving!l texts. I’ll also be taking this time off from writing meaning a more intense digital detox. I can’t wait!
Where My Thoughts Have Been
This week, in keeping with the holiday tradition, I’ve been thinking about what I’m thankful for. I’ll try to be brief as I share a few things, mostly related to my Substack community.
I’m thankful for my lovely wife and my delightful children, just for their being. For my brother
and his encouragement to start writing and publishing here on Substack. For , , ,, , , and for all of your support and encouragement. If Thanksgiving is not part of your holiday schedule or tradition, I encourage you to still take a moment and Thank God for all the ways He has blessed you. Take time to tell a friend or family member you love and appreciate them.
Thank you all for supporting The Endeavor. I’m grateful for every single reader. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! God bless you!
Benediction

And as always,
Keep thy head cool and thine eyes true.

I have been very grateful for your encouragement too, Daniel (and also your brother's encouragement for good measure). I think I shall refer to you both and the "Encouragement Brothers" from now on.
And a Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family as well, Daniel.
